Playpen Chicago

• Have you heard of it? If not, here is what you need to know. Playpen is a popular place in Chicago where boats by the numbers go to dock and relax, swim, hang out, and more. You may even make a new friend! You can count on this area for amazing views of the city, amazing vibes, and a guaranteed good time. Weekends are busier of course but any day is a great day for the Playpen.

Navy Pier Fireworks Every Wednesday 9PM and Saturday 10PM Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.

• What better way to experience the beautiful Chicago Navy Pier Firework show than from our Vessel? You are able to park and watch fireworks up close during the Wednesday or Saturday 

Memorial Day Weekend: May 25-May 27

• Memorial Day Weekend brings in a slew of boaters in town and visitors by the numbers! It is a great way to celebrate the holiday and enjoy the beautiful start to Summer time Chicago. 

Black Yacht Weekend: June 14-June 16th

• Black Yacht Weekend brings together boaters from all over Chicago. Typically meeting in the playpen area surrounding Ohio Street Beach. It is a great way to enjoy the waters and a lot of people coming together.

Black Greek Yacht Takeover: June 23,2024 12-5PM

• Black Greek Yacht event is where Black fraternities and sororities come to celebrate together on the beautiful Lake Michigan. This is an event you do not want to miss. Book today to join the fun!

Fourth of July Weekend: July 4- July 7th

• Fourth of July Weekend is a very popular time to be on Lake Michigan. We advise booking ahead for this weekend and locking in your holiday plans with us to enjoy the Chicago waters. 

Blvck Boat Scene: July 21, 2024 2PM

• Black Boat Scene brings together boaters from all over Chicago. Typically meeting in the playpen area surrounding Ohio Street Beach. It is a great way to enjoy the waters and a lot of people coming together.

Lollapalooza: August 1- August 4, 2024

• Need a break from the grounds of Grant Park? Book with us to get some Lake Michigan time where you will find a lot of local boaters as well as visitors for this busy festival weekend.

Chicago Air and Water Show: August 10-11, 2024

• What better way to experience the air and water show than from the Lake itself? Book ahead and lock in your spot for this unique experience.
